With 30 years of DJ experience, I began my journey as a club DJ in 1994 at one of the hottest nightclubs for college students at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. From 1995-1997, I honed my skills in Europe, and from 1997-2001, I held residencies at two clubs in Enid, OK. I started DJ-ing mobile gigs, including weddings, in 1997 and have since performed across Oklahoma, Texas, Washington, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. Once Northwest Oklahoma's most requested DJ, I also had a contract with Hastings Music and More, lending my voice to their in-store commercials. With over 30 wedding receptions and ceremonies under my belt, I bring unparalleled expertise and passion to every event.
I began my DJ career alongside my dad, Shannon, when my husband and I got married in 2021. Growing up, I heard countless fascinating stories about my dad's DJ escapades from before I was born, and now I have so much fun being part of it as an adult. My dad taught me everything I know about DJ equipment and software. I go by DJ KayKay, a name inspired by my wonderful little nephews. I have loved music for as long as I can remember. DJ-ing with my dad is incredibly special to me, and together we create lasting memories for our clients. We offer a wide range of music that consistently impresses our clients.
Our Story
Galaxy Entertainment's journey began long before Haley was born, with her dad, Shannon, spinning records as a DJ. When he and his wife had kids, Shannon took a break to focus on his family. In 2021, he came out of retirement to DJ his daughter's wedding, using his old Air Force call sign, Shrek, which reignited his passion for music. The experience was so memorable that Shannon and Haley decided to team up and share their love for music with others. Both have a deep passion for music and take great joy in seeing their clients have fun dancing and reacting to the tunes they play. This shared enthusiasm fuels their dedication to the company, making every event they DJ a memorable experience.
